CANOMA SAVE THE DATE June 20 and 21st, 2025
CANOMA is inviting our Council and Citizens to experience our Sacred Open Space outside of Belen, NM on Friday June 20th, then stay the night in Truth or Consequences, from there traveling 25 minutes to the Apache Stronghold on Saturday June 21st morning for Summer Solstice Ceremony.
RSVP by June 1st to canomanonprofit@aol.com for Open Space, lodging requests and ceremony. Bobby or Christina will respond.
Citizens may participate in part or all of both days. Transportation from/to Albuquerque airport available if arranged at least a week in advance.
Ceremonial Grounds: Our Medicine Leader will be rebuilding the ceremonial grounds after winter/spring storms and will be dropping several trees harvesting about a cord of wood. Anyone interested in volunteering onsite in Monticello, NM, please contact Bobby Cruz. CANOMA can sign off on volunteer/and or community service hour requirements. Contact canomanonprofit@aol.com.

Thank you all who have graciously donated and continue to donate to CANOMA and SNOCA. Donations made to CANOMA are tax-exempt, however, donations made to SNOCA will not be processed as tax-exempt. CANOMA (Chiricahua Apache National Order, Mission & Alliance) is a spiritual, religious organization therefor donations made to CANOMA are tax exempt. Donations made to SNOCA (Sovereign Nation of the Chiricahua Apache) are used for the day-to-day operations of the Nation as well as being used in the journey towards Federal Acknowledgement. SNOCA is the official name our Nation is using moving forward to acknowledgement.
